Scam city. I got a postcard from a company and I paid them money. They did nothing for me that I couldn’t have done myself. The attorney general in my state just sued her last year.

Do yourself a favor – take the money you would have paid that company, put it in the bank, and call your mortgage company immediately. You’d be surprised how nice they are, and now much they are willing to help you.

Scams? true and not true. Well I ‘ll say you call and talk to your loss mitigator and discuss the forbearance agreement.

You need to write a hardship letter why you are not able to pay the mortgage. You need to show some financial documents to prove you dont’ have the money to pay them but all will taken care of soon.. ect..

or sell and move to smaller house. who needs the stress.. ?

I helped many in foreclosure to keep or to sell..

Don’t fall for the sales pitch. The LENDER is in control of whether or not to foreclose, and there is nothing anyone can do to stop them if they choose to do so. They hold a legal contract for payment, plus a lien on the property involved. Both contracts always rule in a court of law.

Due to the increase in foreclosures, many lenders are being flexible with home owners in trouble. Swallow your pride and call your lender, be candid about what you can afford right now. You might be surprised what you can negotiate on your own.

Call anyone else you owe money to also, car loans, credit cards, doctor bills, negotiate it all into smaller, more manageable payments until you get back on your feet.

    Good luck.
